INDUSTRIAL
Before construction, we conducted a trade-off study to define the best area for the expansion of the magnetite shipment. Once the location was chosen, we developed all BIM projects: infrastructure, logistics flows, safety, gatehouse, support areas, scales, earthworks, paving, and road signage. All integrated into a budgetary and CAPEX vision, aligning engineering and business from the start.

INDUSTRIAL
The slope showed severe degradation and did not allow the access of large equipment.
We developed a gabion wall with predominantly manual execution, ensuring structural performance.
The result was a stable, durable, and safe slope for heavy traffic and phosphate hopper operations.

COMMERCIAL
With the construction already underway, an urgent need arose for a structural floor design suitable for a major logistics player. We were called in to size the floor of a warehouse that would receive heavy forklift and truck traffic at the docks, under intense operating conditions.
We sought the balance point between safety and cost-efficiency, considering the behavior of concrete and CBUQ in the dock areas, where loads are more severe. The result was a robust, technically optimized floor design aligned with the construction schedule, contributing directly to the success of the project.

INDUSTRIAL
With the sizer already in operation, the question was simple: where does wear actually affect the equipment the most? Using laser scanning, we compared old and new geometries of rotors, teeth, and gears, subtly identifying where material was “disappearing” over time. This geometric diagnosis guided maintenance much more assertively and proactively.

INDUSTRIAL
In the feed of the 311-mn-401 mill, the existing chute no longer matched reality: interfering pipelines, missing parts, and faulty sealing. We scanned the entire region, from the TC-401 to the square-to-elliptical transition, capturing every imperfection of the real geometry. With this base, we redesigned the upper chute and repositioned the assembly, ensuring correct flow passage, proper sealing at the mill inlet, and total compatibility with field conditions.

A discharge chute with a non-standard shape and accentuated unevenness made any attempt at “eyeballing” a copy impossible. We brought in the laser scanner and reconstructed the chute in a 3D model with millimetric precision. From there, we verified minimum inclinations, matched structures and equipment, and proceeded to fabrication with confidence.

Between the desanding system and the acid cooler, a labyrinth of pipes and structures turned any new line into a high interference risk. We modeled the entire route on top of the point cloud, taking advantage of existing pipe-racks and already planning valve and support replacements for the new process. Thus, the project moved forward with clear routes and conflicts resolved on screen.

A feed line that constantly stopped due to belt and safety issues. Our work began by understanding those pain points and evolved into full redesign and regulatory compliance of the conveyor. Beyond adjusting sensors and components, we aligned the system with NR-12 and NR-35 requirements, delivering greater operational reliability and safety for those working alongside the equipment daily.

The tensioner’s counterweight required more than a simple reinforcement: it needed a full structural reassessment. We reviewed sizing, stability, and connections to the existing structure, seeking a robust and rational solution using steel profiles. The result was a safer, more predictable tensioning system that is maintenance-friendly.

To work in such an aggressive environment, we scanned the entire sulfuric area and converted the point cloud into a complete BIM model. We identified steel profiles, mapped critical regions, and organized the information to support maintenance and CAPEX decisions with far greater precision and safety.

In the sulfuric fusion area, where temperature and chemical aggressiveness are constant, any design error escalates quickly. We modeled, calculated, and detailed the structures in BIM, always aligned with mechanical equipment and operating points. In addition to integrity and performance, the project focused heavily on safety, including NR-12 compliance for daily operation.

We participated in the project from beginning to end, developing foundation designs, concrete wall structure, and all electrical, gas, plumbing, drainage, containment, and earthwork installations for three 8-story towers with basement.
All the work was fully coordinated in a BIM environment, integrating architecture, structure, installations, and regulatory requirements. This approach anticipated conflicts, optimized solutions, and provided predictability for the client.
The need for pressurized stairs and forced ventilation also involved our mechanical team, ensuring full compliance and approval for construction progress.

The client approached us with incomplete electrical designs at a critical phase of the development. Within a short timeframe, we restructured the entire system: medium and high voltage, substation, backup power, and all electrical infrastructure for intake, supply, and bottling.
